Artist Appreciation Moment.
My former art mentor and I, earlier this year. His name is Yis Goodwin, also known as Nosego. He became my mentor about 2 years ago. I never knew he’d mean so much to me. He’s like an older brother to me I guess, always watching out for me. He knows how to make me feel better, and the things I like and dislike. He always keeps me on top of my work, even if sometimes it means harassing me with annoyance. Without him, I don’t think I would’ve gotten to where I am now. He’s taught me so much more than I thought I’d ever learn from the program, and has shown me great things. He’s bestowed spectacular oppurtunities upon me. I’ve became the (semi-decent) artist that I am today because of him.
He’s also shown me the good things in life, and that I should appreciate every moment, good or bad. He’s taught me to reach higher than the stars, whether through Mega Jump or my own career. He’s a big inspiration in my life, and i just neede to take the time out to say that, because I honestly don’t tell him that enough.
